No-Sew Vintage Fabric Bunting – DIY

I LOVE easy projects! I also love vintage fabrics. So when I snagged myself a big bag full of darling vintage fabric pieces, I decided to put the two together when I created this fabric bunting. Buntings are an easy way to add a little color and fun to any room or party.

I’m sharing this super quick and really easy DIY on how to make this NO-SEW fabric bunting – just right for all your Summer outdoor parties!

Here are the step by step instructions along with photos.

Here’s all you need to make these:

– Assorted vintage fabric pieces
– Scissors or rotary cutter
– Baker’s twine (or other twine)
– Glue gun

Step 1: Cut your fabric into small rectangles (mine measure 3 1/2″ by 2″) – also cutting a small v-shape into the end of each one. I used a rotary cutter but you can uses scissors too.

Step 2: Using your hot glue gun, spread a thin line of glue on top of the fabric piece about 1/2″ down.

Step 3: Place the twine in the glue and fold the fabric over, pressing firmly with your fingers until the glue dries. Repeat until you have reached the length you desire.

Step 4: All finished!

Have a great week!
